Yes. Cortex runs locally on your machine. Your files are never uploaded to third-party servers, and we never use your data for model training. We are SOC2 Type II certified and all data is encrypted at rest.

Cortex supports PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), PowerPoint (.pptx), CSV, plain text, and most common document formats. It can also process images and scanned documents with OCR.
